True tales of the paranormal from Dartmouth and its surrounding parishes, Devonshire

Building on the success of Ken Taylor's book Dartmouth Ghosts & Mysteries, local author and paranormal researcher Christine Donnelly is taking a fresh look at a wide range of phenomena in the area.

Rarely has an entire town and the villages and countryside around it received such focussed attention over such an extensive period. Longitudinal studies such as this have the potential to uncover patterns of hauntings etc, and may not only spark new avenues of research into the mysterious occurrences, but may also suggest cyclical explanations for rare but undeniably natural incidents.

This publication celebrates the passing of thirteen years from the launch of Ken's book. Sadly the original publisher has retired, so there is an opportunity for a new publisher to get involved with a book that entertains, informs, and provides a safe haven for tales of some of life's strangest experiences.

Ken has had books on the paranormal translated into five languages, but no longer lives in the area, so Christine, who has a lifetime's experience of the supernatural, is spearheading this new venture. She is a member of ASSAP, ran a local paranormal research group - Hidden Realms - for many years, produced a regular column on the paranormal for a local newspaper, and has completed the Foundations of Parapschology course (among others) under the tutelage of Dr Ciarán O'Keeffe (Derby University).
