Haunted Swindon Project
This DVD not only takes a tour of the town and environs, telling the stories of many local haunted sites, but this DVD also includes footage of the PSI team on location during an investigation, complete with subsequent analysis of apparently anomalous photographs etc.
With an introduction by parapsychologist Dr Simon Sherwood of the University of Northampton, this exploration dispels many of the TV myths about parapsychological fieldwork, and features a strongly ethical approach to investigation.
Written and narrated by PSI co-founder Nicky Sewell, and directed and edited by investigation team member Steve Wills, this hour-long introduction to the hauntings of Swindon is a showcase for the varied and fascinating work of education charity PSI - Paranormal Site Investigators. All proceeds from the sale of this DVD go to the charity.
Although exempt from formal classification, the makers state it is not recommended for anyone below the age of twelve.
Released the year before the book Haunted Swindon, this DVD is certainly a valuable companion to it, as many sites feature in both.
Swindon hauntings include...
Wyvern Theatre
Central Fire Station
The Planks, Old Town
Lawn Wood
Sally's Cafe, Highworth
Stanton Park Farmhouse
