Local author Christine Donnelly has collected new photographs, drawings and first-hand experiences of the paranormal into this, her third book on the local area.
Christine's approach is unusual in that most chapters are written either by eye-witnesses themselves or by researchers into the paranormal and history of the castle - each focusing on their individual interests. Subjects include a wide variety of ghost stories as well as nocturnal investigations and vigils, time slips, shamanic journeys, and psychic drawings.
Contributing authors include Totnes writer Bob Mann, David Phillips founder member of Torbay Investigators of the Paranormal (TIP), documentary-maker Matt Kerby, former Berry Pomeroy tour guide Kathy Alexander, and author Ken Taylor. Christine also shares some of her own ghostly encounters at the castle.
Christine has a lifetime's experience of the supernatural, is a member of ASSAP, and ran a local paranormal research group - Hidden Realms - for many years. She also produced a regular column on the paranormal for a local newspaper, and has completed the Foundations of Parapschology course (among others) under the tutelage of Dr Ciarán O'Keeffe.
